Elsa in Ecuador: Update Número Dos!

Buenas tardes from the tropical paradise of Ecuador!

After a rather eventful airport adventure (due to the fire in Atlanta's airport), I have finally made it Ecuador! Being stranded for a few days in Atlanta taught me many lessons, all of which were very good for me. I learned that what is unexpected for me is not unexpected to God. He knew exactly what was going to happen and took care of me in the most beautiful ways.

Since I lost about 3 days of teaching due to flight delays, I started today with fervor! I taught three students today and got through about half of one song (which was amazing considering they have very little musical training). Praise God! Please pray that the students would not be afraid to sing and learn about the piano. I love them dearly.  😊

All of my luggage made it safely EXCEPT the keyboard. It is sitting in Atlanta, and, according to the airline, it will arrive tonight. PLEASE PRAY that it gets here safely so that the students have another keyboard to practice on.

The people who I am staying with (Nita and Fransisco) live in a beautiful home surrounded with flowers, hummingbirds, and avocado trees.

I walked this road to teach this morning!

Feliz Navidad from this Tropical Paradise!
Morning Devotions on the Porch

I love music and I can't believe I get this opportunity to give others the wonderful gift of song. Please keep praying for me and His work here in Quito, Ecuador!

P.S. There are 75 active volcanos here.
P.P.S. I'm safe Mom, don't worry.  😊
